ACTION

This rifle is built on the first in class Defiance Machine action by Glen Harrison founder and former president of Nesika Bay. The short standard action is used but other configurations are available.

Features of the Defiance action:

Foot print as compared to Rem. 700, with short or medium action. The receiver body is hardened 416 Stainless steel.
Caming/ Unlocking has 35% more engagement. A precision ground recoil lug is double pinned.
Raceway is wire EDM’d instead of broached.
The primary extraction is increased by 35% meaning upon opening the bolt the case is pulled out of the chamber just upon opening, this makes for smoother bolt cycle.
The bolt/ handle is one piece; machined from a solid piece of 4320 CM and heat treated.

Match grade cut rifled barrels from Bartlein, Krieger or Rock Creek up to 26” #3 taper

Shilen match quality set at crisp 2.5lbs. **

STOCK

B&C Medalist with integral aluminum bedding system is computer designed and CNC machined out of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum , hinged floor plate, LOP is 13.5” with Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. **
